Thumbs up for making your own chicken sandwiches now! This is the most moist, delicious chicken sandwich I have ever had :) 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast 1/4 cup pickle juice (sour dill is my favorite) 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup flour 1 tablespoon powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon celery salt 1/4 teaspoon dried basil Optional: up to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper for a spicy sandwich Oil for frying (about a cup) Pound your chicken out to about 1/2 inch. Soak in pickle juice for about 30-60 minutes. I did it for about 20 minutes and it was perfect. Mix egg and milk together in one bowl. Mix the rest of the dry ingredients in a bowl very well. (If doubling or even quadrupling the recipe, like I did, don't use too much flour. Maybe double it, but don't quadruple it). Heat fry pan up with oil. Medium heat. Take chicken and dip in egg/milk wash, then into dry mix, then into the fry pan. DELICIOUS. MOIST.
