sunshinecooking-sunshinecooking.blogspot.com This is the 2nd solar cooked dish we prepared on Earth Day. We used Emeril's Kicked Up Tuna Melt recipe www.foodnetwork.com "L" couldn't believe that it actually cooked. The edges of the bread were toasted, however the center on the bottom side of the bread was soft. The recipe was delicious though and it's definitely a keeper! "L" suggested that perhaps buttering the bread next time might help toast them more evenly. Pre-(solar)toasting the buttered bread slices lightly before adding the toppings might also do the trick.
