Vegan No Bake Cookies Recipe - HeyThatsMike TyBoze Vegan No Bake Cookie Recipe requested by HeyThatsMike. When I searched for recipes and videos, I saw that our friend Tyboze made these before, so these are also for him! Vegan No Bake Cookies Recipe Ingredients: 1 ½ cup white sugar ½ cup almond milk ¼ cup earth balance margarine 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ cup peanut butter 3 cups quick cooking oats How to: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, almond milk, margarine, and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Once well combined, stir in the quick cooking oats. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper, and place the mixture onto it by the tablespoon. Leave about an inch in between, because they do spread a little. Refrigerator for at least an hour, or until they have set. Enjoy, they really taste like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to me. Thanks HeyThatsMike for the idea and Thanks Tyboze for demonstrating how to make No Bake Cookies, peanut butter and chocolate flavor.

Refried beans were one of my first food loves, which is strange because I did not grow up in or near Mexico, nor did I eat a lot of Mexican-American cuisine. I remember the day, for some reason my Kindergarten class was having a Mexican meal and all the parents were there too. I looked at the refried beans and thought they looked like slop, but I think everybody had to have a little of everything on their plates. I was amazed by the flavor of the brown-mashed-potato-isk substance and got seconds. My grandmother noticed and for about a year there after, trying anything to increase my fiber (if you know what I mean), she made them on a weekly basis. I still love pinto beans today, so I knew I had to do a refried beans recipe. Find me: Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Pinterest: pinterest.com YouTube: www.youtube.com Blog: thesweetestvegan.com Refried Beans Recipe - Frijoles Refritos - Mexican, Spanish, Tex-Mex, Cinco de Mayo Food Ingredients: 1 pound, or 2 1/2 cups, Dry Pinto Beans 8 cups water 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt + more to taste 1 teaspoon liquid smoke 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup pinto bean broth, from cooking process 1 1/2 tablespoons agave nectar 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Directions: Rinse the pinto beans in a big bowl of water and then drain them. Take a moment to sort them, look through and remove small rocks, dirt, and ugly beans. In a large pot, bring 8 cups water to a boil over high heat. Add pinto beans ...

Vanilla Milkshakes have always been one of my favorite desserts. We made them a lot at home growing up, because my mother had an extreme sweet tooth. Then there came Wendy's Frosty, which was so delicious. For the longest time Wendy's only had the Chocolate Frosty for some reason, but eventually came out with a vanilla frosty too. But, now that I am vegan, there is no more going to Wendy for a quick Frosty Milkshake. I just have to make them at home. Here is what I have come up with for a quick milkshake fix! Find me: Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Pinterest: pinterest.com Blog: thesweetestvegan.com Vegan Vanilla Milkshake Recipe Yields: 1 Delicious Milkshake for Vegan Ingredients: 2 scoops of vanilla Coconut Bliss ice cream 1/4 cup almond milk Vegan whipped cream (optional) Directions: Mush together vanilla vegan ice cream and almond milk until smooth and lushishly consistent in a large cup that you love (you know you have a special cup). Put a straw in it and suck as hard as you can. Milkshakes have to be drunk with a straw, none of that spoon business. Quick warning: Do not drink it to fast or a brain freeze may incur. And if you can find any (or make your own), top with vegan whipped cream. Enjoy. Chocolate filled and stuffed strawberries came to my mind just as I was falling asleep last night, just as the best ideas do. I love chocolate dipped strawberries. I remember my first one. My high school boyfriend and I were strolling through the mall. I looked through one window, not to find clothes, but to find . . . chocolate. There it was, Godiva. I remember my teeth cracking through the chocolate shell and bursting into the juicy strawberry center. It was love at first kiss, lol. My love for chocolate and strawberries outlasted my high school relationship, and should up in my twisted fantasy last night. Macaroons are becoming the new cupcake. People like them because they are light, colorful, and most of all, French. I have yet to gain one of these French wonders, but I have seen a lot of healthy Macaroons made of coconut floating about the Internet. So until I can figure out how to make a French Macaroon that is vegan, I will try out the coconut macaroons, because they look amazing. My result: Though not crunchy as I suspected, they are amazing. They are like soft, white, yummy, vacation pillows for the mouth.
