Spring 1-5, Year 2 - Blackout (not Power Surge) as Chelsea w/ Commentary Welcome to the beginning of my sub-series of Sunshine Islands after it being a full Let's Play series for the past 9 months. How this is going to work is that I will be playing through 5 in-game days, edit those days intensely, only keeping the important parts, and post-commentating through them. Important parts include all cutscenes, festivals, sun stone locations, birthday gift giving, new quotes, and anything else that improves my game. This sub-series will be uploaded occasionally and only when I feel like it. I could go weeks without uploading. The actual LP series will be starting when I actually get the motivation, time, and readiness to do so. :PI may actually upload some random videos in the meantime besides this series. ~~Rice Candy Festival~~ Once you have reached your second year in the game, you can participate in the Rice Candy Festival. The villagers gather together at Meadow Island to pound rice into Rice Candy. After you have taken your turn at pounding, Taro will give you some Rice Candy as a reward. This is the only time you can get Rice Candy in the game. It is used in the Mochi Mix Natto high level appetizer recipe, as well as in a lot of dessert recipes: Strawberry Candy, Roasted Rice Candy, Soybean Rice Candy, Green Dumpling, and Bamboo Dumpling.
