Dressing recipe: 20 organic sun dried tomatoes halves, 1/2 cup organic cold-pressed unrefined high lignan Flax Seed oil, 1 handful fresh organic cilantro, 4 organic limes or 3 organic lemons, 4 tablespoons Organic Nama Shoyu (unpasteurized soy sauce), 1 heaping tablespoon raw honey, 1 tablespoon organic Dijon Mustard, 1 tablespoon organic raw cacao, 1 tablespoon organic cumin, 1 teaspoon freshly grated organic ginger, 1 teaspoon organic paprika, 1/2 teaspoon organic cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon organic cayenne. Blend This dressing is excellent with about any combination of veggies. We are adding it to 2 lbs. of raw ground beef. The meat is from a local farmer who raises his cattle on pasture using organic methods. The problem of parasites in beef or lamb is easily solved. Simply freeze the meat for 14 days. All of us are really enjoying our raw fish and meat. I try to prepare it at least once a week, if not more. In this video I'm using frozen WILD CAUGHT Pacific Salmon and Cod(do not use farm raised fish). I also use Halibut. Five filets is enough to feed the eight of us. I unpackage it and place it in a covered dish in the refrigerator for several hours. Then I skin the salmon and cut it into 1/4 inch cubes. Place in dish and cover with freshly squeezed organic lime and lemon juice. I also add 2 tsp. Redmond Real Salt (or any high quality sea salt), 1 tsp organic red pepper flakes and 1 tablespoon dried dill. Stir, cover and marinate in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. I like to serve it with freshly sliced organic tomatoes, organic cucumbers, organic sweet potatoes and avocados. Use a slotted spoon to remove the salmon from the marinade. Discard the marinade. Serving options: Lemon wedges, a sprinkle of salt over veggies, organic Dijon mustard and raw milk kefir cheese. I prepare raw meat the same way, but using different herbs. According to the USDA freezing meat for 14 days will kill off all parasites. Sally Fallon in nourishing Traditions says marinating in fresh organic lemon juice, lime juice or whey will effectively kill off all parasites and pathogens and will serve to predigest the fish as well. This is one of my favorite soups, which is a traditional Hakka dish from my Amah. It's really simple and easy to do, you just need to shop for some of the ingredients! I swear you can buy them easily at an Asian market like 99 Ranch. The key to keeping the meat tasty and tender is to not overcook it so that it becomes dry and bland; you have you remove it part-way thru the process. And yes, I chose a calm song for once! The fermentation process digests the sugars and carbohydrates making them nearly sugar free. The fermented fruit will not taste sweet. It will have the flavour of the fruit without its sweetness. When making sauerkraut the vitamin C content is much greater than in a plain old cabbage. The Vitamin C is increased by the fermentation process. So there is a good chance that there may also be a greater vitamin content in fermented fruit. If you are suffering from Candida Yeast this is probably the only way to eat fruit. Although I still suffer from symptoms of Candida, they have not gotten noticeably worse from eating this fermented fruit. I also get severe binging urges when I eat fruit due to insulin resistance (including strawberries and other low sugar fruit). Eating the fermented fruit actually eliminates any sugar craving I may be having and satiates my hunger. Here is my recipe: 1 pinapple 2 oranges 1 apple 1inch piece of grated ginger 1/4 cup of rapadura sugar 1/4 cup of whey 1 teaspoon of salt I cut up the fruit into small pieces. I put the pieces in my jar and gently squished them to get them juicy. I put in the salt, whey and sugar and mixed everything together. Beka follows some principles laid down in "nourishing Traditions" in this wholesome meal with chicken fats (schmaltz) Beka will share with you her favorite method of roasting chicken, and how to do the potatoes under the chicken. This style of roast chicken can be used for the whole chicken, as well as parts of the chicken. Finally, she demonstrates a way to may sweet potatoes savoury, in a recipe she created herself.
