Nutrition makeover for a physique makeover by Dianne Hanks, queen of makeovers. Move more Eat less. That was easy. Start with 10000 steps a day when you move more. No dieting, forget that, ppppthuah, I spit on it. My philosophy on nutrition: As you move towards a more healthy lifestyle the allure to unhealthy habits will be diminished. Kudos for taking proactive steps to move forward and make a deliberate decision to take charge of your health. Think of your body NOT as what you see on magazines, but as a living breathing beast and as how it was designed to function in its optimum level. Get your blood alkaline. Diseased bodies are always acidic. Natural, whole foods are what the body was designed to be fueled by. Eat to live = food as fuel, a source of nutrition, food as medicine Live to eat = food as pleasure, food as emotion My Livable Suggestions: Once a month: Fast once a month, I like to do it the first Sunday (from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) Once a week: Mondays, have a cleansing day, use liquids, NO coffee, NO soda Tomato soup, juice, herbal tea (No caffeine) water smoothie Once a day: Power Smoothie in the morning One day during the weekend: Dine out somewhere lovely with NO guilt. Eat what you want. Savour every morsel. This is your FREE day!

Greetings! I have been thinking about doing this recipe ever since I made the schnitzle last week! A ruben sandwich with schnitzle instead of corned beef! What a great idea. And boy was it! A nice change from the norm. I heated the left over schnitzle in a frying pan with just a whisper of olive oil to heat it through. Put that on some buttered rye bread, top with cheese and some kraut and some homemade thousand island dressing and you have a sandwich that is fit for the Earl himself! I made two different versions here, one more traditional with swiss cheese and sauerkraut and one with havarti cheese and the leftover sweet and sour cabbage. Both were delicious! www.noreenskitchen.com Greetings! Lets use up the extra chicken that I roasted on Sunday night to make supper tonight! Tonight we are going to have chicken spaghetti that is inspired by a video I saw by heatherzblueeyez1975, here is a link to her channel www.youtube.com If you haven't yet been introduced to Heather, go check her out! So where Heather used fresh chicken and a little bit of a different application in her dish, I adapted it to suit my needs. I am using leftover chicken that I cut into medium sized chunks. I am also using a 1 pound bag of broccoli cuts, I would prefer to use broccoli florets, simply because the cuts contain too much of the stem pieces. But in an effort to really get serious on rotating my stock I am using what I had in the freezer. We all need to do that from time to time and this is the perfect time of the year to do it for myself. So I simply sauteed some onion and garlic in a small amount of olive oil, added the broccoli which I had put in the microwave, in the bag, for about 3 minutes on 50% power just to get the "frozen" off of it. I let those mingle for a minute then added in the chicken and let the chill come off of that. Then I added about 3/4 of a bottle of Zesty Italian salad dressing that I had in the fridge that needed to get used. I let this simmer for about 5 minutes while the pasta finished up cooking. When the pasta was done, I simply pulled it out of the water using a pasta fork and tossed it into the skilled with the chicken ...

Greetings! Tonight I made some burritos, which will be coming as a video soon. I had some rice leftover and decided to make a quick side of Spanish Style Rice to go along with it. This is just a combo of ingredients that I had on hand including some peppers from the freezer, a chopped onion, a few teaspoons of minced garlic and a can of diced tomatoes. Sauteed up all those great veggies and thew the cooked rice in and let it cook. It was great! The girls loved it and at the leftover, leftover rice for lunch the next day. Just goes to show you, that leftovers don't have to be boring and gross. I hope you try this and I hope you enjoy it! As always, Happy Eating!
