it wasn't all that bad makin it, except that we skipped a few small parts. thanks tita[auntie]! other than that it was good. wasn't as soupy, but can't complain. for you non-filipino viewers.... Lugaw is a filipino Porridge-y rice soup with ginger, garlic, onions, chicken, and water [& yes duh water]. it takes for ever to make.. well, i guess for us. it was our first time making it on our own. so it looks nasty.. but it's alright :P i'm a bit too hyper through out the whole thing... weird ...

**Watch in High Definition** - This video was shot in high def, 1920x1080i, and it was uploaded in this format: MPEG-4 H.264, 1280x720, 24fps, 14.65Mbps Van Halen's Ice Cream Man Solo - The lesson!: This video will provide you with complete step by step instructions on how to play the solo to Ice Cream Man from the first Van Halen album. The song is in E minor (A blues) and Ed uses the 1974 Phase 90 during the entire solo. The first riff of the solo is a very cool pattern with an awkward rhythm, and the mulitple E blues scale riffs are fabulous. If this solo doesn't click for you right away, don't get discouraged! As long as you understand the concepts, keep practicing and you'll be fine. If you're trying to copy Ed, then your technique (it starts with your fingers) is the most important thing. In a very, very close second place is Ed's tone. I'm actually not close to his tone. For my sound I'm doing something a little different, I'm combining the sound of two amps simultaneously: For the first amp, I'm using my old 1984 - 100watt, JCM800 Marshall head with a single straight front 4 speaker celestion cabinet, and it has the back off of it so the sound comes out the back of the cab as well. The head has old GE 6550s for the power tubes, a double slap back Boss delay (Eddie uses a single slap back delay) and a 500ms reverb (Microverb and my best guess). It's cheap stuff but it's the tube amp that gives me the sound. For my second amp, I'm running a Digitech GNX through two ...

First off, this video is not meant to be taken too seriously. Believe it or not, I do have a silly side. My mom and I love watching the food channel. She thought it would be funny if I tried making a cooking video entirely in khmer. It's super hard not to speak Khmglish (khmer and english), I definitely need more practice. You know how the saying goes, if you don't use it...you lose it ;) Note: The green stuff on my rice at the end of the video is seaweed seasoning...mmmm...
