Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs chopped walnuts, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp ground cloves, 1 pkg phyllo dough, 1 cup meltad butter Syrup: 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, 1 cup honey, peel from 1 lemon Combine walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves, set aside. Brush 9 x 13 baking pan with butter. Overlap 8 sheets of phyllo dough on bottom of pan, buttering sheet as you go, covering bottom. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the walnut mix, overlap 8 more sheets on top. Spread another 1/3 of mix and cover with another layer of phyllo dough and reamining walnut mix. Finish by overlapping the remaining 16 sheets, buttering the sheets as you fit them into the pan. With a sharp knife, score the top into 1 1/2 inch diamonds or squares. Brush with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile make syrup. In a soucepan, bring all syrup ingredients to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir and cool. Pour warm syrup over cooling baklava and cool completely. Cut along score lines and serve.

Ingredients: 3 1/2 sheets unsalted matzos 1 cup unsalted butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup chocolate chips 1/3 cup slivered almonds, finely chopped and toasted Line a 15 x 10 inch pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray. Arrange matzos in prepared pan breaking as needed to fit and completely cover bottom of pan. Bring butter to a boil with brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Carefully pour mix over matzos in pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 1 minute. Sprinkle cocolate chips evenly over top, let stand until chips look shiny and melted. Spread chocolate chips over brittle and sprinkle with almonds. Chill until chocolate is firm. Break into pieces.
