I know it's been a while. This is a test video to try to get back into the youtube video making. I plan on making a vlog just to kind of discuss my current situation and future video and web plans. Try to be a little nice in the comments. I'm a second youtube virgin losing it rough in the back of an apartment. You get the point. 1/2 oz Vodka 1/2 oz Gin 1/2 oz Rum 1/2 oz Orange Flavored Liqueur sours mix lemon cola 1. Pack your glass with ice. 2. Add all of your liquors in 1/2 ounce measurements. 3. Add sweet & sours mix all most to the top. 4. Add a float of cola. 5. Squeeze of fresh lemon and enjoy. I used a 14 ounce glass. Most regular consumption glasses are around 16 ounces. Your mix might be weaker than mine. And the one's I made while dong this video were phenomenal. Current laws say must be 21 or older to consume alcohol and never drink and drive.

You can contribute too! Create your own DIY guide at www.howcast.com or produce your own Howcast spots with the Howcast Filmmakers Program at www.howcast.com It may look like plain old iced tea, but this drink—invented near Long island's Jones Beach in the 1970s—is one potent potation and the East Coast's answer to the Zombie. To complete this How-To you will need: 1/2 oz. vodka 1/2 oz. rum 1/2 oz. gin 1/2 oz. triple sec 1/2 oz. tequila 1 oz. lemon juice 1 tsp. sugar Some cola Some ice A measuring jigger A cocktail shaker A highball glass And a straw Step 1: Fill with ice Fill the shaker with ice. Step 2: Add vodka, rum, & gin Add 1/2 an ounce of vodka, 1/2 an ounce of rum, and pour in 1/2 an ounce of gin. Step 3: Add triple sec, tequila, & lemon juice Continue to add the alcohol. Add 1/2 an ounce of triple sec, now add 1/2 an ounce of tequila, and pour in 1 ounce of lemon juice. Step 4: Add sugar Drop in 1 teaspoon of sugar. Tip: Some recipes will call for sour mix, but using lemon juice and sugar instead can give a fresher, more consistent flavor. Step 5: Shake Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Step 6: Strain into glass Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass. Step 7: Fill with ice Fill the highball glass about halfway with ice. Step 8: Add cola Top off the glass with cola ...

I baked "Floating island", a dessert made by Hannah in Book 2 (The Hidden Staircase) of the Nancy Drew Series. I used the recipe from "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child and Simone Beck and Louisette Bertholle. Mastering the Art of French Cooking www.powells.com I have "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" - a single volume ISBN 0-375-41340-5. In my version, the recipe is in Chapter 10: Desserts and Cakes and is called Ile Flottante (Caramel Almond Souffle, Unmolded). It's a classic French Floating island recipe and there are a number of similar recipes online, like this one: www.cuisine-france.com It took me about 4 hours all together to make the recipe, but I'm not a very accomplished cook.

Thumbs up! :) I found this recipe here: tastyislandhawaii.com Scott gave me the best compliment -- said that mine (this) was way better than any of the smoked pork he has been buying at the farmers market/makeke (fair). However, in my opinion, my nephew's is better. Some day we will be doing this together! The meat: Pork Butt, 5 lbs. or more, preferably boneless (easier to cut into steaks) Hawaiian Salt (rock salt) The marinade*: Shoyu (use your favorite brand), 3 cups Sugar, 1-2 cups Fresh Ginger, 1 large finger, minced Fresh Garlic, 5 large cloves, minced Hawaiian Chili Pepper, 3 pieces, minced Follow video or go to website for instructions. Basically, salt the meat, marinate. Smoke it for a few hours.

Ohala, and Happy Father's Day! For the second day of our "Summer Kick-Off Cooking for Amateurs Marathon Event" (or SKOCFAME for short), we baked some wonderful (Hawaiian) island Cookies for our dad (don't worry, we gave some to Cameraman's dad as well). Thousand island Salad Dressing has never been my salad dressing of choice for sever...
Thousand island Salad Dressing has never been my salad dressing of choice for several reasons. I have always like my vegetables unadulterated and bare. Second, I am not a fan of the type of salads that need to be dressed. Last, I was never one to pick the creamy mayonnaise based salad dressings. They are to thick and overbearing. To top it off, one day my mother (Yes, I talk about my Grandmother a lot, but I used to have a mother) showed me how to make Thousand island Dressing at home, and as soon as she put in ketchup, I was done. All that to say, it is in Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible, so I just have to shut up and make the darn stuff. Find me: Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Pinterest: pinterest.com Blog: thesweetestvegan.com Vegan Thousand island Dressing Recipe What do you need to make Vegan Thousand island Dressing: 1 1/2 cups vegan mayonnaise 1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup dill pickle relish 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice salt and pepper to taste For salad: 1 small head iceberg lettuce Vegan Bacon Bits How to make Vegan Thousand island Dressing: In small bowl, stir together vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle relish, lemon juices, salt, and pepper. For the salad, quarter the lettuce into wedges. Plate the wedges, drizzle with vegan thousand island dressing, and sprinkle with vegan bacon bits. My Verdict: I thought we had a head of lettuce in the refrigerator and we did. But since my grandmother buys produce, puts it in the crisper, and kindly forgets ...
