Our jobs, our hobbies, our exercise, getting things done, taking care of kids, taking care of ourselves, take up so much time. So how do we eat healthy on the run? Here are just a few quick tricks. I like to make a big pot of my Super Immunity Soup ahead of time and put it in containers in the freezer. Then it's really easy to take one or two of those out in the morning, let them thaw during the day, and serve them in the evening for dinner. It's quick and easy and you can make it ahead of time, like over the weekend when you have more time. My guy works really hard, and his favorite snack is tortillas with almond butter on them. That's the snack that we usually make for him—it's really quick, he can walk out the door with it in his pocket, and he can eat it pretty much anywhere, even while he's working. Just take an apple or a banana along with that, and you've got a nice on-the-run snack. Another thing we run into is convenience stores. We are traveling somewhere during our busy day running around town, so how do we grab something quickly that is going to be nutritious and healthy? Well, some of the best things in a convenient store are the nuts and seeds, so that is one thing to look for to find something healthy.
