You don't have to eat store bought dressings which or loaded with GMO soybean oil, 'flavoring', and stabalizers. Make your own! I'll show you how in my homemade dressing series. In this video I show you how to make French dressing in a snap. It's SO easy! Enjoy. FRENCH dressing 1 1/2 cup oil (vegetable, lite olive oil, etc.) 1 cup ketchup 2/3 cup sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 small onion, rough cut Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. This dressing is something gourmet! We love it. Start by making my homemade Italian dressing mix, which I showed in a previous video: www.youtube.com Make it into dressing by using vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Red wine vinegar works wonderfully for Caesar salad dressing. RECIPE to make my Italian dressing into Caesar dressing: 3 large cloves garlic 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon anchovy paste - optional 1 tablespoon capers - optional 1/4 up Italian dressing Place all ingredients in a mini chopper or blender. Blend until smooth. Add this mixture to the rest of the recipe of Italian dressing. Stir. Refrigerate until ready to use. Serve over tender salad greens. Delicious. Enjoy! *Note - if this dressing seems to tart to you, add a few drops of honey and shake again.

www.noreenskitchen.com the recipe will be posted later today! Greetings! Here is another recipe for a homemade salad dressing. You can make any dressing you see in the store at home. Please read the ingredients on the bottle before you buy salad dressing because you probably have everything you need to make it at home! You can make this in your blender or with an immersion blender or in your food processor, What I forgot to mention is that you will need to have 1 to 1/2 cup of chopped onion to waz up in this dressing. Without the onion, you won't have the same flavor you will be looking for in a Catalina dressing. See how easy this is? You can do it! Give this one a try, I know your going to love it! Happy Eating! www.noreenskitchen.com Greetings! I thought it would be fun to develop a recipe for an Italian salad dressing mix to replicate the type you can purchase at the store. Through trial and error I have come up with this blend. This is a very light and very tasty Italian dressing that you can use on your salad or as a marinade for grilled meats. You can also mix this with some sour cream and butter milk and make a lovely creamy Italian dressing. One of the ingredients that I have used here is Xanthan gum. This is an ingredient commonly found in the listings of some of your favorite store bought products and while you may see it and express some concern that it is an artificial ingredient or preservative, you can rest your mind at ease. Xanthan gum is nothing more than a thickening agent used to increase the viscosity of liquids and help them stay blended, in this case to help marry oil and vinegar and water. You will commonly find this ingredient in many commercial salad dressings. This particular brand that I have used is Bob's Red Mill. It is all natural as well as gluten free. Xanthan gum is bacteria that is derived from natural sources such as corn or other organic matter and it is grown and then mixed with isopropyl alcohol then extracted, dried and ground into the powder that we are using today. Yes, it is a process, but this is still a natural option. The best part about Xanthan gum is that it can be used as a thickener in cold applications, such as this salad dressing ...

www.noreenskitchen.com Check out my friend Donna on her channel www.youtube.com She is awesome! Greetings! It is salad night. When the weather gets warmer, we love to have a salad night at least once a week. Fresh produce is delicious and abundant this time of year and while none of this came out of our garden, most of it did come from the local farm stand. Farm fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, iceberg and leaf lettuce as well as spinach, peppers and green onions are welcomed at any time, but especially this time of year when they are field fresh and local. I love Asian chicken salad with a sesame ginger dressing. This is one of my favorites. Others include a great Caesar salad, spinach salad with hard cooked eggs and hot bacon dressing as well as the old classic wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing. These salads stand on their own two feet as meals in themselves and you should make salad night a part of your weekly routine. Tonight I seared off several chicken breasts in a hot iron skillet and seasoned them with nothing more than pink salt, cracked pepper and garlic powder. I let them rest while I made the dressings and the salad that we would have for our supper. This dressing is as good, if not better than you will find in sit down restaurants. You can always go buy yourself a bottle of sesame ginger dressing. Have you looked at the price of salad dressing lately? Outrageous for sure! You can make this much better than you can buy it and in many cases, you may already have ...

So many people ask me for the recipe of certain things I cook, but I rarely use recipes or measure anything. I've tried to describe how to make something but it just seems easier to show you. This recipe is my first in a possible series. This is "The dressing". I've been making it since I was a wee little nipper and have never measured any of the ingredients in my life. The dressing is something we make in our French family, mostly for salads but it also makes a great chicken or grilled veggie marinade (especially zucchini or eggplant) and bread dip. Please enjoy and feel free to share this video! Happy Cooking!!!
