I know it's low res, and I already posted it a few years ago, but it had hardly and hits, and I thought it would be a cool idea for Thanksgiving centerpieces. There is a link on the screen for the slower, original version. Enjoy! foodwishes.blogspot.com

Hello again, strangers~ This is video numbah 2 of my Splicer mask collection! [: This time it is a bird Splicer~ ♥ Exotic, yes? Sorry, I don't have as much pictures, since I didn't think I would make a video for this bird one. D': Here are the needed recipes. You can use your own if ya want(: Paper Mache Recipe: Combine 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 2 cups cold water in a bowl. Add this mixture to a saucepan of 2 cups boiling water and bring it to a boil again. Remove from the heat and stir in 3 tablespoons of sugar. Let it cool; it will thicken as it cools. Once it does, it's ready to use. Fake Blood Recipe (I recommend not using oil-based bloods. Doesn't soak well.) : You need; Plain Flour, Water, Red Food Coloring,1 tsp. of Coffee. Boil the water on the stove, then sieve in the flour, making sure you get ALL of the lumps out. The quantity of ingredients aren't important, it just depends on how much you want. Once you have the flour mixed nicely into the water it should look nice and thick. Next, add the red food coloring. You will notice that it's a ghastly, bright red color but don't worry this is why we add the coffee. It is important that when you add the coffee to make sure the mixture is hot, otherwise it wont dissolve, but up until adding the coffee can be done in a ordinary mixing jug or pan. Let it cool down, and it's ready to use. Tell me how yours comes out, hm? ♥ Want more awesome? Check out my Deviantart account~ Bellabonkers.deviantart.com

One of Popeye's favorite treats--mashed potatoes. She's a messy eater, but she's sure enjoying herself. She's humming the entire time she's eating. When the potatoes were first put in her dish, she hurried over, took a look and said in a very sweet voice, "Hi, Baby!" to the mashed potatoes. Very funny.

I smoked a Turkey for Thanksgiving using my Bradley Smoker. The General rule of thumb is to smoke 30-45minutes for every pound of turkey you are trying to smoke. The internal temperature must reach 165F For the recipe brine I used the following: 2 Quarts of Apple Juice 2 Quarts of Orange Juice 2 Cups of Kosher Salt 1 Cup Brown Sugar 10 Allspice Berries 1 tbs Nutmeg Smoke for 1/2 of the overall length of the smoking/cooking process. This allows for you not to over power the taste of the meat with smoke.

Her breadth of knowledge and practice of hoodoo (not to be confused with voodoo as she expertly explains) have been passed down for generations in her family. The book is rich with "legends, lore, mysticism and music" as her subtitle proclaims.
