This is my favorite smoothie from the 14 Day Green Smoothie Challenge.
Banana & Berry Green Smoothie
- 1 Banana
- 2-4 Strawberries
- 2 Cos Lettuce Leaves
- handful of Baby Spinach leaves
- 1 glass of water
(optional - ginger, mint, health powders, Udos oil)
Put into a blender and then drink (unfiltered). It's chewy but so good for you!

Here is a beautiful appetizer recipe that will give your party table some extra 'zazz. These shrimp puffs are easier to make than they look. Lauren Chattman from Pillsbury demonstrates a quick and easy way to put them together.
Appetizer recipes: How to make sweet and sour shrimp puffs
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray, or line with cooking parchment paper.
2. In small bowl, mix cream cheese, soy sauce, ginger and garlic until well blended; set aside.
3. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise in half to make 16 triangles.
4. Spread about 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese mixture on each triangle. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
5. Place 1 shrimp on shortest side of each triangle; roll up, starting at shortest side, rolling to opposite point.
6. Place sesame seed in small bowl. Gently press top of each roll into sesame seed; place roll, point side down, on cookie sheet.
7. Bake 16 to 21 minutes or until golden brown.
8. In small microwavable bowl, microwave preserves uncovered on High about 20 seconds or until melted. Gently spread 1 teaspoon melted preserves over each puff to glaze. Cool 5 minutes. Serve warm.
Pillsbury's sweet and sour shrimp puffs recipe makes 16 appetizers.

Are you tired of pigs-in-a-blanket and looking for something different to spice up your appetizer tray? Lauren Chattman from Pillsbury shows us how to make Thai pizza appetizers that have a sweet and spicy kick.
Shopping List / Items Needed:
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated flaky dough sheet
1/2 cup chive-and-onion cream cheese spread (from 8-oz container)
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/2 cup shredded carrot (about 1 small)
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper (1/2 medium)
1/2 cup chopped seeded cucumber (1/2 small)
1/4 cup chopped salted peanuts
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 ungreased pizza pan
Small mixing bowl
Thai pizza appetizer recipe:
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. If using crescent rolls: Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 4 long rectangles. Place rectangles in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan; press in bottom and up sides to form crust.
3. If using dough sheets: Unroll both cans of dough. Place rectangles in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan; press in bottom and up sides to form crust.
4. Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
5. In small bowl, mix cream cheese spread, peanut butter, ginger and ground red pepper. Spread over cooled crust. Top with carrot, bell pepper, cucumber and peanuts.
6. Serve appetizers immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, sprinkle with cilantro. Cut into squares.
This appetizer recipe will make about ten individual Thai pizza bites.

Appetizer recipes: How to make onion tartlet appetizers
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Unroll dough into 1 large rectangle. Cut dough into 12 squares.
3. Gently press squares into 12 ungreased mini muffin cups, shaping edges to form rims 1/4 inch high.
4. Spoon cheese evenly into dough-lined cups. Top each with onions and pimientos.
5. In small bowl, beat egg and whipping cream with wire whisk until blended. Spoon scant 1 tablespoon mixture into each cup. This is what gives the onion tartlets their quiche-like filling.
6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown and filling is set. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from muffin cups.
Pillsbury's tartlet recipe makes twelve savory appetizers.
